As a member of Spark451’s internal marketing team, I recognized the need for a contemporary online refresh. Our website had not been redesigned since 2015, and was running on an outdated CMS. That needed to change. I pitched the idea of a refresh along with content gaps that I had identified by comparing our approach to other leading marketing agencies. Simply put, we weren’t selling ourselves enough.

To address this, I collaborated with the marketing team and we strategically pivoted toward showcasing the agency’s strengths through a renewed focus on “offerings.” To support this shift, I also designed a new set of style tiles. These resonated with both the marketing team and the broader company and became a key element in the final design.

Throughout the year-long project, I worked closely with the Chief Officers and Managers to align messaging and design. Together, we created a modernized Spark451 brand. As a result, the new site has brought fresh energy to our online presence and introduced exciting offerings for clients as the company continues to grow.

Today, the redesigned website serves as a source of inspiration for many marketing efforts. It influences both traditional and digital media and has become our primary marketing rubric. Most importantly, it demonstrates the strong synergy between strategic messaging and design.
