Brand design and website development for Disney Advertising’s new Weekly Topline Report and resources hub on the web.

Overview

When approached by Disney Advertising to transition their weekly email blasts into a web-based platform, I was excited to embrace this new challenge. What added to the excitement was the creative freedom granted to redesign the look and logo. The existing email format, spanning multiple brands such as Hulu, ESPN, ABC, Freeform, and FX, posed navigation difficulties for both users and authors crafting extensive weekly emails manually. My objective for the website extended beyond brand refreshment to align with Disney Advertising; I prioritized making information easily digestible and navigable. The goal was to facilitate efficient access for users seeking specific brand performance data, sparing them from sifting through lengthy emails (while still offering them this option on the Full Report). Simultaneously, the web solution aimed to streamline the Topline team’s report compilation process.

In response, I engineered a user-friendly system within WordPress, featuring a myriad of templates, layouts and styling options. Perhaps more importantly for the Topline team, the system automatically updated links to new reports upon publication. The feedback from the Topline team has been overwhelmingly positive, acknowledging the transformative impact of the site on their workflow. I take immense pride in this project, considering it one of my most significant pieces of work.

While the site is password-protected due the sensitive nature of the content, I am more than willing to provide a comprehensive showcase of the end result, highlighting the templates and systems that I meticulously developed.

Note: The site is currently password-protected, but I would be happy to share the site experience with the templates I have created in an interview setting.
